WHAT IS BANKRUPTCY?
Bankruptcy is a Federal Law allowing individuals in debt to discharge his or
her liabilities and reestablish their credit and lives. The three primary Bankruptcy
Code sections for consumers are Chapter 7 (Fresh Start/Liquidation), Chapter 13
(Repayment) and Chapter 11.
